Lead and manage the creative services team to ensure work is on-brand, as well as bring a fresh and energetic approach to each new project. An industry leader who is fluent with the tools necessary to personally create at an advanced level with the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Responsible for the development, growth, and guidance of the graphic design team. Acts as the primary creative contact for internal and external needs, overseeing the flow of work for the creative services team. Responsible for providing timely feedback and recommended approaches to project design. Responsible for presenting ideas and final proofs from the creative services team to both internal and external clients. Stays up to date on current industry trends and applications and ensures that the creative direction of the team is always evolving and remaining relevant. Creation of ballpark and outdoor signage, publications, packaging, merchandise, logos, infographics, and web banners. Partner with the marketing team, printers, copywriters, photographers, website designers, and marketing specialists to meet departmental and Club goals. Collaborates with other departments within the organization to strategically create a consistent visual identity for the Club.  This includes collaboration with the Entertainment & Production departments on branding for commercials, in-ballpark, and social media videos. Develop design briefs by gathering information and data to assist in the process of clarifying design ideas.

SENIOR ART DIRECTOR 03/18 - 05/21

PERFORMANCE RACING INDUSTRY: ALISO VIEJO, CA

The primary responsibility is to lead the design and production of Performance Racing Industry’s magazine, marketing materials, and the PRI Trade Show design elements. Oversee all art department design projects maintaining design quality and campaign consistency. Ensure specified project objectives are incorporated into a concept and final design. Troubleshoot design and production issues. Leads art team design efforts and design application. Collaborate with the editor on monthly magazine design, layout, and scheduling. Interface daily with marketing coordinator, job initiators, editors, the art team, and Performance Racing Industry vendors. One of five significant stakeholders within the organization reporting directly to the President.

CREATIVE SERVICES MANAGER 11/14 - 2/18

VANGUARD UNIVERSITY: COSTA MESA, CA

Responsible for implementing the institutional design image into electronic, print, and other applications campus-wide and oversee project concept development, provide creative direction and graphic design for Vanguard University. Working closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications and the marketing team, I help manage the university’s creative agency. Provide expertise and services to University clients in the creative development of University publications, promotional materials, website, online social media, and logos, all while working to maintain the Vanguard University graphic standards. Building strong partnerships with outside vendors and suppliers to achieve the best solutions for departments campus-wide. Also, monitor all design work and quality of all college printed material, mainly which the public sees, to ensure the advancement of the Vanguard culture and brand.

ART DIRECTOR of SPECIAL PUBLICATIONS 01/05 - 10/14

NATIONAL HOT ROD ASSOCIATION: GLENDORA, CA

Create the souvenir programs for the annual 24-event NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Design and layout the yearly rulebooks for both the professional racing series and the Jr. Drag Racing League. Produce the Jr. Drag Racing League bimonthly digital magazine Jr. Dragster. Responsible for the production of the annual Fan Guide magazine. Also contributing designs and graphics for the NHRA website and TV spots.
